Frank Martin circa 1948

Frank Martin "The Morning Mayor", and Craig Warvel
woke up listeners for too many years on JET radio.
Here they celebrate over 40 years of JET radio being
on the air.

Frank's broadcast career began at 1948 at WLEU,
before becoming the "Morning Mayor" at WJET
in 1953.  Frank extended his career at WFGO in 1995,
playing the oldies that he first started playing as a
20-something.

"WHERE ARE THEY NOW?"
Frank retired on July 4th, 2003, bringing
to an end an enormous career that touched thousands
of Erie fans across the city.  Frank is preserved, in audio,
in New York's Museum of Television and radio.

Craig Warvel enojyed a 13-year career with Frank
on the air, before moving over to Star 104 where
he continues to be a morning guru.
