Ron Rondo started at what would eventually become
WCCK-K104 in late 1970 as the Program Director/
Operations Manager/ Afternoon Drive Disc Jockey,
and stayed with the station until the Fall of 1976.
"CKLW boomed in at night and was an outstanding radio station. We wanted something with
a "CK" to emulate them. I had worked under Bill Hennes(CKLW's PD) in Providence."
